TmpIP is built on a simple rule: your data is yours. This page explains exactly what happens when you use our tools.

What runs locally

Browser and device details (user agent, screen, language, time zone and so on) are read entirely by JavaScript on your own machine. They are never sent anywhere — not to us, not to anyone.

The IP lookup

To show you your public IP address, the page queries public geolocation services (ipwho.is, with ip-api.com and ipify.org as fallbacks). By the nature of this lookup, those services receive your IP address and may log it under their own policies. TmpIP itself keeps no server logs of your queries.

Cookies & storage

We use no cookies. Your language preference is saved in your browser's localStorage so the site opens in the right language next time — that value never leaves your device.

Analytics & ads

None. No analytics scripts, no ad networks, no third-party trackers of any kind.
